A coordinated look, from island to backsplash.

Quartz is an engineered surface that offers a wide range of colors and patterns. Compare a sample in your own lighting and review a larger view of the selected design before committing to a full island or backsplash.

  • Compare the pattern at full slab scale, especially for dramatic veins.
  • Review seams, edge thickness and sink cutouts with the overall layout.
  • Check color availability and the manufacturer’s care guidance for the exact product.

Made for everyday use. Cared for thoughtfully.

Engineered quartz is generally nonporous and does not need routine sealing. It still needs protection from hot cookware and unsuitable cleaners. Use trivets and follow the selected manufacturer’s instructions. Standard indoor quartz should not be assumed suitable for an exposed outdoor kitchen.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few good
questions.

Is quartz the same as quartzite?

No. Quartz is an engineered product; quartzite is natural stone. Their appearance, care and suitability can differ.

Can I use quartz for a full-height backsplash?

It may be possible, subject to the selected product, layout, heat clearances and fabrication plan. Include the wall dimensions and appliance specifications in your request.
